Delivery & Packaging

Woodland Toys aims to reduce unnecessary waste and be conscious of the environment, but we would also like your purchase to reach you in perfect condition.  We will try and use environmentally friendly or recycled packaging material as much as possible but, unfortunately, other times we will need to use bubble wrap to protect your order.  Kindly consider recycling all packaging material including the courier satchel.

We offer a free gift wrapping service so the beautiful products you have purchased will arrive at your chosen destination looking gorgeous. Please select the gift-wrap option at checkout if you're purchasing a gift, I would be happy to gift wrap it for the recipient.  You are also more than welcome to provide a message for your recipient (with their name) if you wish for them to receive a gift tag with their present.

 

Delivery by courier may take 2 - 7 business days (excludes Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays) depending on where you are located.  A tracking number and estimated day of delivery will be emailed to you once the goods have been dispatched.  If your order hasn’t arrived in the specified time frame, please get in touch and we will take it up with the couriers.  Please note: If your order is placed after 12 pm on a Friday it will only leave our warehouse on the following Monday.  

As much as we’d love to, we are not yet at the stage where we can implement integrated automatic tracking updates. If you have any concerns at all just email us for tracking details and updates and we’ll let you know where your parcel is on its journey. Simply reply to your order confirmation email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. 

 

‘Customers are responsible for having someone at the delivery address during the day to sign for and accept delivery. It is imperative that you provide a street address for deliveries as we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.  If you live remotely or not accessible by courier (we do not deliver to plots, farms, mines, military bases, major chain stores, power stations, game reserves and lodges, airports or harbours), kindly contact us before placing the order and we can arrange delivery to the closest town.  Should your delivery address fall into one of these categories you will be liable for the extra costs incurred in delivering or returning the parcel.  

Woodland Toys currently holds limited stock on site and the time taken to dispatch an item is listed on each product detail page.  If it indicates “in stock” it means the product is in our warehouse and we will ship it within 24 hours.  For example, "Usually dispatched within 2-5 working days" means that it will take us 2-5 working days to get the product from our supplier. The delivery times listed above apply once we dispatch the item to you.  

Free delivery is valid for most orders over R600 nationwide (excluding townships and post boxes).  For orders less than this amount, a nominal flat rate of R100 will be charged.  You are also welcome to collect your parcel in Durbanville.  Select the “collection” option and we will arrange with you.  Woodland Toys reserves the right to amend delivery prices for courier deliveries to very remote areas and for extremely heavy or peculiar sized or shaped items (in these cases the R600 free delivery will not apply). We will always contact you first and will never charge extra without your consent.

If you need something in a hurry, please contact us to arrange a quote for priority courier service, although this will be at an extra cost.

Woodland Toys assumes no liability for orders shipped to incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses supplied by the customer. Any additional fees for such orders will be the responsibility of the customer. If a package is refused upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred for the return of the item. Charges will be applied to any refund due to refusal.
